To see for yourself: Take a road trip along the breathtaking Catlins coast on New Zealand’s South Island.  Nugget Point is one of the iconic stops along the way. (Walk up to the lighthouse itself and the view over the peculiar rock ‘nuggets’ is even more interesting!)
